Dark Red Meranti: Sourced from countries that are leaders in ecological, sustained forest practices

Often called mahogany in the decking industry, DRM is a carefully selected, meranti hardwood species, reddish brown in color, and 100% clear and knot free. It is very resistant to decay, insects and fungal attack, as well as abrasion, wear, and dents. Naturally fire resistant. Easy to maintain, it accepts standard penetrating oil finishes to maintain that rich dark “Mahogany look” or it can be left unsealed to weather to a lustrous silver gray patina.

Ipe: Harvesting follows strict guidelines for sustainable and responsible forestry management.

Often referred to as ironwood,one of the hardest woods that exists, with a greater downforce load capacity then concrete. Ipe will outlast all other decking products on the market (40+ years) It's ricand warm appearance is arguably the most attractive decking that exists. It is prized for its stability, durability, strength and natural resistance to decay, wet conditions, and infestation. Maintenance choices include treatment with deep penetrating oils or varnishes (Sikkens Cetol), or just letting it weather to a beautiful, satiny silver patina. It’s great density insures stability, with minimal to no bowing, cupping, warping, shrinking, or splintering.

Canbara: Harvested under strict sustainable forestry standards.

This Brazilian hardwood has a beautiful, deep reddish-brown heartwood and a distinct grayish-white sapwood. Straight grained with a typically medium to coarse grain, it is valued for Its color consistency, decay resistance, finishing qualities, and stability. Like Ipe, it is also referred to as an ironwood.

Tigerwood: Harvested under strict sustainable forestry standards.

Very durable and naturally resistant to decay and insects. A slightly less expensive alternative to Ipe and Canbera, it also has a very different look; it is light golden brown to reddish brown with irregular black and brown streaks. Offers the same treatment options as other hardwoods.
